The schedule for our Louisiana Concealed Carry Classes can be viewed in the drop-down box below. This class is suitable for anyone wanting to learn basic handgun safety and marksmanship, or for those persons preparing to apply for (or renew) a LA State Concealed Carry Permit.
The one day class consists of the NRA Basic Handgun Safety and Marksmanship course, a review of child-access prevention devices, and a discussion of laws as they pertain to carrying a concealed firearm and the use of deadly force. Students that successfully complete this course receive a Certificate of Completion which must accompany applications sent to the State Police.
Our price of $105.00 includes fingerprints, photo ID, and notarizing of documents. Regularly scheduled classes are on Saturday beginning at 8:00 AM.and ending around 2:00 PM. Class are taught at the Shootout Range in Princeton. Last minute sign-ups are welcome if space is available.
PRIVATE CLASSES are available for persons unable to attend the regularly scheduled classes. Private classes are scheduled at your convenience for $145.00.
Equipment needed: We supply S&W model 10, .38 Special revolvers and ammunition for an additional $20. If you choose to bring your own firearm you'll need approximately 50 rounds of ammunition.

Louisiana State Concealed Carry Permits are valid for five years. Those wishing to renew their LA Concealed Carry Permits may retake this class.
